A Dental Assistant is a multi-skilled member of the dental health team, dedicated to assisting the dentist with all phases of dentistry work. 

Dental Assistant is like the right hand or extra pair of hands for the dentist.

On a typical day, a Dental Assistant can be responsible for a variety of clinical functions, but mainly provides support to the dentist.

Objective:

The prime objective of the course is to train Dental Assistant to work under the supervision
of Dentists and with collaboration of other members of the Oral Healthcare team in delivery
of healthcare services.
